David Sanford
A book of poetry filled with simple observations of the world around me as well as complex feelings of love and life. I enjoy everything from looking at Grass, or a field of Daises, to a Wedding dress hanging in a window. My poems are written from the perspective of someone whose life was almost lost multiple times. Undergoing five heart surgeries by the age of ten, the next heartbeat was not promised, much less another day or year. Each birthday is a gift. I'm usually quiet but always curious about how things affect my world. I am always grateful for life and the things that fill my life.
