Time Portals of Norwich

Cassie Fox's life has never been simple. She sees ghosts, hears disembodied voices, and events from history have a habit of rising up to haunt her.

On a visit to Norwich’s Castle Mall shopping centre in the hot summer of 2018, Cassie finds herself transported back to the early 1990s in the company of a woman called Kay, who not only looks familiar but claims she's encountered Cassie many times before.

But what secrets does Kay hold, who is the mysterious bus man, and exactly who is chasing them both across Norwich's past? This is only the start of an adventure that takes in several famous Norwich fires, local ghosts and that bus that fell into the chalk caves on Earlham Road!

About the Author

As a child, David was always interested in creating stories. In 2006, he joined the Redwell Writers writing group, which led to several of his short stories ending up in print between 2007 and 2019. He edited the Redwell anthologies: "Sixteen Stories Tall" (2017) and "some of this is fiction" (2020).

In 2020 his SF/Fantasy novels "Time Portals of Norwich" and "Splinters" were published via his own Viva Djinn publishing company, and he has attended local events promoting them both.

Most recently David has published a collection of time travel and world-ending stories called "Time Enough for the World to End" which, as some people have commented, is an apt title for the current world situation! He has also had short stories published in "81 Words" (an anthology of 1000 eighty-one word stories, edited by Christoper Fielden) and in both the 2021 and 2022 Science Fiction Novelists anthologies.
